Welcome to Blend Culinary Foundation

A Bold Vision for Change

At the heart of Blend Family, we are passionate about creating vibrant, diverse food halls. But we’re also committed to something bigger – alleviating food poverty, enhancing food education, and uniting communities through food. Every penny raised through our Blend Culinary Foundation is reinvested to support this mission.

Introducing Our Social Cooking Classes

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned home cook, our hands-on Cooking Classes are for you. Designed to be fun, informative, and inspiring, everyone is welcome!

Based in our purpose-built kitchens on the 1st floor of Cambridge Street Collective in Sheffield and on the ground floor of Alfred Works in Birmingham, we are a modern space that runs a wide array of cooking classes. From our now-infamous Cooking & Cocktails (our Friday night social class) to our Bottomless Brunch classes on a Saturday afternoon, we have something for everyone.

Take a look, your next culinary adventure awaits…

Whether you are looking for a Cooking Class or an event to attend with friends or family, we have something for everyone here at the Cookery School at Blend Culinary Foundation

For businesses, groups and organisations, we also have our Corporate Pledge. A way to work together, build teams whilst preparing meals and giving back.

And of course, there is always some form of Family Fun available too. With classes for children or for families, we are here to teach cooking in a fun and inclusive way.

Discover Our Classes

We cover a variety of culinary interests, including dedicated lessons on culinary staples, such as fresh pasta, steak, and seafood. We also teach deep dives into regional cuisines from around the world.

Diet, Allergens & Accessibility

Most classes can be adapted to dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free diets. Please provide details on any diets and allergies, especially dairy or gluten intolerances, in the Allergen & Dietary Restrictions field at checkout or by emailing hello@blendculinaryfoundation.co.uk so we can best accommodate you.

Our community kitchen can accommodate guests with wheelchairs.

Please email our team at hello@blendculinaryfoundation.co.uk to discuss your needs, so that we can assist with the booking process.

Through Corporate Pledge days, teams bond while preparing meals for food banks and contributing to our larger mission.

We also have A Cookery School that has recently opened at Alfred Works, our food hall in Digbeth, Birmingham!

Our goal is ambitious—delivering one million meals to those in need. Every event, every lesson, and every effort contributes to this vision. But we can’t do it alone.

So, let’s cook, collaborate, and create real change together. Whether you’re a corporate group looking for a meaningful team-building experience or an individual eager to make a difference, we’d love to have you on board.

We provide meals for those in need, support food education programmes, and bring people together around shared culinary experiences. Through community initiatives and corporate partnerships, we help tackle food insecurity while celebrating cultural diversity.

Our Cookery School at Cambridge Street Collective in Sheffield is a flagship space. With 18 purpose-built workstations, it hosts cookery classes for all ages and occasions.
